Opticonnect offers a range of QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) products such as transceivers and kabels. QSFP+ can reach dataspeeds up to 40Gbps by four channels of data in one Pluggable transceiver. Each channel can transfer data at 10Gbps and supports in total 40Gbps. QSFP+ optics and Cables
Dual Fiber QSFP+ Optics
Opticonnect provides QSFP+ transceivers for both MultiMode as SingleMode fiber, compatible with most of today’s switch vendors. Opticonnect’s Dual Fiber QSFP+ support data ranges up 40Gbps an reach a distance of 30 km. The optics can be used for 40GBASE-LR4 and 40GBASE-SR4. Go to the QSFP+ optics product range.
Active Optical Cables (AOC)
- QSFP+ to QSFP+ CablesActive Optical Cables are made for data transmission over copper cables. These cables contain four data lanes in each direction with a total bandwith of 40Gbps. These types of cables are widely used in data- and telecomcenters for short range multi-lane data communication and operate on a wavelength of 850nm.
QSFP+ to Four SFP+ Cables
The QSFP+ to SFP+ High Speed Active Optical cables are disigned for use between two devices with on one side a QSFP+ ports and on the other side four SFP+ ports. The copper cable between the transceivers can be divided in two parts, the single cable from the QSFP transceiver and the part where the cable will split up in four different SFP+ cables.
